Getting Ready for 2010-2011 TWI Kindergarten!
We have just had our 2010-2011 kindergarten lottery, and the classes have been filled. If your child has received a spot in one of the kindergarten classes, please be sure to:
1. Sign up for Kindergarten Roundup at Bijou Community School during the first week of May. This is how your child gets enrolled at Bijou and can thus accept their spot in the TWI class.
2. Mark your calendars: JUNE 2nd at 5:30 pm...we will have a meeting for all incoming kindergarten families. The meeting will entail an orientation of your classes, a meeting with the two kindergarten teachers, information about the expectations in the program; and yor chance to sign up for the volunteer committee of your choice.
3. Mark June 1st on your calendar as well...Bijou's kindergarten orientation for ALL incoming kindergarteners will be this evening. Come join us for a fun filled treasure hunt to help you and your child become familiar with Bijou Community School.
The TWI lottery for the 2010-2011 kindergarten class was held on March 24, 2010. If you are already looking ahead at the 2011-2012 kindergarten lottery, please check back in Sept. 2010 for an application!
