Getting Ready for 2010-2011 TWI Kindergarten!
We now have the 2010-2011 TWI commitment forms (applications) ready for next year. If you would like to sign your child up for the 2010-2011 lottery, please fill out and turn in an application . Applications can be turned in to Bijou Community School, faxed to (530) 541-5693, or emailed to tahoetwi@gmail.com. Please do not turn in a commitment form until you are absolutely sure this program is for you and your family!
The TWI lottery for the 2010-2011 kindergarten class will be held on March 24, 2010 at 6pm. Commitment forms will be accepted for the lottery up until March 19th, 2010 (4pm). This is a mandatory meeting for all families in the lottery. If you do not attend, your child will not be put into the lottery drawing.
2009-2010 School Year!
LTUSD has voted to start TWO Two Way Immersion Kindergarten Classes for the 2009-2010 school year. We now have 20 English speaking students and 20 Spanish speaking students who are enrolled to be in these two classes. Currently, there are no openings, and waiting lists do exist, so please contact Bijou Community School if you would like to add your 2009-2010 kindergartener to the wait list. You will be notified if an opening occurs!
